Business details, locations and team members
Your workspace settings hold the facts about your business that Kuuply uses everywhere: in the online store and in emails.
Business details and currency
Go to Settings → General.
Business info – choose edit on the business card to change your brand name, legal name, legal address, email, phone, website, business registry code and VAT number. These appear in your online store and can be shown in customer emails.
Currency – the currency all prices and amounts are shown in, both for you and for customers.
Business type – sets the wording Kuuply uses:
- Equipment rental – bookings have a Pick up and a Return.
- On-premises rental – for things used on your site, such as courts or rooms. Bookings run From and Until.
Units of measure – the units used across your inventory.
Locations
A location is where customers pick up and return. Stock is counted per location and every booking belongs to one.
- Go to Settings → Locations and choose Add location.
- Enter a name and the address.
- Tick Online Store if customers should be able to choose this location when booking online.
Choose Manage on a location to change it. Keep the address accurate: it is shown to customers and used to calculate delivery distances.
Invite team members
- Go to Settings → Team members and choose Invite team member.
- Enter the person’s email address.
The next time they sign in to Kuuply with that email, they see the invitation in their workspace list and can Accept or Decline it.
To remove someone, open the menu on their card and choose Delete. They lose access to this workspace immediately; their own account and any other workspaces are not affected.
Roles: owner, admin and member
Each team member’s role is shown under their name.
The person who creates a workspace is its owner. Some things only the owner can do:
- Change the workspace’s own details
- Delete the workspace
Work with several workspaces
One account can belong to several workspaces, for example if you run two businesses.
- To switch, open the user menu at the top and choose My workspaces.
- To create another, choose New in the workspace list.
Each workspace has its own catalogue, bookings, customers, settings and team.
Your own account
Open the user menu and choose Account settings to change your name and photo and to set your language and region, which controls how dates and numbers are shown to you.
