Help / Online Store
Offer your store in several languages
Your online store can be shown in more than one language. Visitors choose their language, and product names and descriptions follow.
Default and supported languages
- Go to Online Store → Settings → Languages.
- Choose the Default language. This is the source language: the one you write your product names and descriptions in.
- Under Supported languages, tick every other language you want to offer.
- Choose Save changes.
Translate products
- Open an inventory item or service and go to the Translations tab.
- For each supported language, enter the translated name and description next to the source text.
- Save.
If a product has no translation for the visitor’s language, the store shows it in the default language.
If the tab says No additional languages yet, add supported languages first.
Machine translation
Kuuply can translate for you:
- Translate missing – fills in only the empty fields.
- Re-translate all (overwrite) – replaces every translation, including ones you edited by hand.
- Translate this field – translates a single field.
Machine translations are a draft. Read them through before you save, especially product-specific terms and sizes.
Monthly translation limit
Each workspace has a monthly allowance for machine translation. When it is used up, you see a message that the limit has been reached. You can still type translations in by hand, and machine translation becomes available again the following month.
Emails in other languages
Customer emails have a template per language. See Customer emails and templates.
